MAHATMA To Co-Headline Philippines' PULP SUMMER SLAM

March 21, 2008

Korea's premier thrash metal killing machine MAHATMA will co-headline this year's Pulp Summer Slam the Philippines' biggest annual rock event with DARKEST HOUR. Last year's Summer Slam had a total of 35,000 in attendance with DEATH ANGEL as the headliner. This year, the organizers are hoping to break last year's attendance by putting more foreign acts to the lineup plus the Philippines' best rock/metal bands. With MAHATMA and DARKEST HOUR as the headliners, the crowd will be treated to full metal assault with DARKEST HOUR's Americanized Gothenburg metal and MAHATMA's 80's Bay Area-inspired thrash metal.

Summer Slam 8 will be held at Amoranto Stadium, Quezon City, Philippines on the April 26.

MAHATMA will also headline a pre-Summer Slam show on April 25 with some local metal bands from the Philippines.
