MALEVOLENT CREATION: New Video Interview With JON RUBIN Available

December 19, 2007

Jon Rubin of MALEVOLENT CREATION was interviewed by Johnny Orlando, Jr. in Chicago during the recently completed Death By Decibels tour, also featuring VADER, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, VEIL OF MAYA and LIGHT THIS CITY. Jon talks about French horns, Fort Lauderdale and his love of sculpture.

Watch the six-minute clip below.

MALEVOLENT CREATION has recruited drummer Fabian Aguirre (SYNAPTICIDE, ex-GRINDCRUSHER, MISTY FATE, ANGEL NEGRO) as the replacement for the recently departed Dave Culross. Handling the bass duties for the group on the road is Marco Martell, who has already previously toured with the band.

The band previously stated about Aguirre, "MALEVOLENT CREATION compare this drummer to a Gene Hoglan-type of style and is a brutally fast hard-hitter."

For more information on Fabian Aguirre, visit his MySpace page.

MALEVOLENT CREATION's new album, "Doomsday X", was released in the U.S. on July 17 via Nuclear Blast Records and in Europe on August 24 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded and engineered at Mercury Recording Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida by longtime friend and producer (and sometimes session member) Gus Rios, and is said to be the most diverse MALEVOLENT CREATION album recorded to date and "without a doubt their fastest!!" Mick Thomson, guitarist for SLIPKNOT, contributed a "ripping" guitar solo to the song "Deliver My Enemy".
