MALEVOLENT CREATION: Tucson Footage Posted Online

December 11, 2007

Footage from MALEVOLENT CREATION's December 5, 2007 show at The Rock in Tucson, AZ can be viewed below. The performance was captured on the band's current "Death by Decibels Tour" sponsored by Revolver magazine. The event also features some of today's finest extreme metal acts including VADER, CATTLE DECAPITATION, LIGHT THIS CITY, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS and VEIL OF MAYA.

MALEVOLENT CREATION has recruited drummer Fabian Aguirre (SYNAPTICIDE, ex-GRINDCRUSHER, MISTY FATE, ANGEL NEGRO) as the replacement for the recently departed Dave Culross. Handling the bass duties for the group on the road is Marco Martell, who has already previously toured with the band.

The band previously stated about Aguirre, "MALEVOLENT CREATION compare this drummer to a Gene Hoglan-type of style and is a brutally fast hard-hitter."

MALEVOLENT CREATION's new album, "Doomsday X", was released in the U.S. on July 17 via Nuclear Blast Records and in Europe on August 24 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded and engineered at Mercury Recording Studios in Pompano Beach, Florida by longtime friend and producer (and sometimes session member) Gus Rios, and is said to be the most diverse MALEVOLENT CREATION album recorded to date and "without a doubt their fastest!!" Mick Thomson, guitarist for SLIPKNOT, contributed a "ripping" guitar solo to the song "Deliver My Enemy".
