Malta's SLIT Added To SUSPERIA, RED HARVEST Tour

July 12, 2006

SUSPERIA (featuring former members of DIMMU BORGIR and SATYRICON) will join forces with fellow Norwegians RED HARVEST and GRIMFIST for a heavyweight package that is set to hit the U.K. for a short tour in October 2006. Joining the bands for the tour will be SLIT from Malta, who have in their ranks Omar Grech from BEHEADED. SLIT, who have been described as "Malta's premier masters of technical aggression," will be promoting their new "Ode to Silence" album.

SUSPERIA will enter the studio in August for two months to record their new album, the follow-up to 2004's acclaimed "Unlimited" release. Mixing and mastering is set to take place in November with release expected soon after through the Tabu label in Europe and Candlelight Records in the USA. The U.K. tour will give SUSPERIA a break from the confines of the recording studio and the first opportunity to preview new songs in a live situation.

SUSPERIA's "Devil May Care" EP, which was released last year in Europe through Tabu Recordings, created a piece of history when it reached No. 19 on Norway's official "Hit List," making the band the first-ever Norwegian metal act to achieve a Top 20 hit.

"The Eternal Anger Tour" dates:

Oct. 12 – Nottingham, UK @ Rock City
Oct. 13 - London, UK @ Camden Underworld
Oct. 14 - Bradford, UK @ Rio
Oct. 15 - Glasgow, UK @ Cathouse
Oct. 16 - Dudley, UK @ JB's
