Man In Critical Condition After Balcony Jump At INSANE CLOWN POSSE Concert

September 26, 2003

A man was seriously injured after jumping off a balcony at a Salt Lake City arena during an INSANE CLOWN POSSE/BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY concert Wednesday night (September 24).

Police say the man got into a fight with another male earlier in the night and was beaten so severely that the medical staff took him into a VIP room at the Saltair Pavilion to treat his wounds.

But instead of staying in the room, the man jumped 30 feet off the second-floor balcony.

"The victim of this incident took it upon himself to jump up, run to the door, run out of the room and jump off the balcony, down to a concrete floor below," said Lt. Jay Southam of Salt Lake City Sheriff's Department. Watch the KSL TV report on the incident in Real Media format at this location.
