MANIFEST Guitarist Cleared For ENTOMBED Dates In Norway

September 9, 2006

Guitarist Ole Marius Larmerud of the Norwegian noise-thrashers MANIFEST, who recently fell off his bike and broke his elbow, will be well enough to perform with the group when they support ENTOMBED in Norway at the end of the month.

"Ole had an examination of his arm on Friday [Sept. 8] and the results were good," reads a posting on the group's web site. "The Norwegian tour in support of ENTOMBED will go as planned. Good news is that now, we are also supporting ENTOMBED in Oslo, so that means six gigs instead of five with the Swedish masterminds. The MANIFEST headline gigs we had to cancel in Kristiansand and Oslo are most likely to be re-scheduled for later this year."

MANIFEST supporting ENTOMBED in Norway:

Sep. 22 - Blæst - Trondheim
Sep. 23 - Union Scene - Drammen
Sep. 24 - Amplifier - Oslo
Sep. 26 - Hulen - Bergen
Sep. 27 - Folken - Stavanger
Sep. 28 - Kick Music Hall – Kristiansand

MANIFEST's debut album, "Half Past Violence", was released in June 2005 via Edgerunner Music. The CD was produced by Rune Stavnesli at the Godt Selskap Studio (NECROPHAGIA, THE APPARATUS) in Trondheim, Norway.
