MANTAS Guitarist Comments On Bassist's Departure

September 26, 2004

MANTAS guitarist Jeff "Mantas" Dunn (ex-VENOM) has commented on the departure of bassist Tony Dolan from the group's ranks. Citing an "unfortunate and irreconcilable situation" as the reason for the split, Jeff went on to say that "Tony is and always will be my closest friend and this is in no way a personal conflict, however no one member is greater than the band and we have to move on. This has not been an easy decision and we wish Tony every success for the future."

In other news, MANTAS have parted ways with drummer Cherisse Osei due to "contractual obligations." The band are currently in rehearsals auditioning new drummers for upcoming European dates.
