MANTICORA Bassist To Guest On HEXFIRE Debut

Kasper Gram of the Danish metal act MANTICORA recently laid down a guest bass solo on one of the tracks that will appear on the debut album from Polish metallers HEXFIRE

Commented HEXFIRE guitarist Jacob Liszko: "As you can see, more and more well-known musicians are agreeing to guest on our debut album! That's incredible. We're really content with that.

"Kasper Gram is one of my favorite power metal bassists. That's why I thought, 'Why don't I ask Kasper to record some bass part for us?' And… As a result, we've got an excellent bass solo from him! That's nice, isn't it?"

As previously reported, English drummer Jonno Lodge (BIOMECHANICAL, ex-PAUL DI'ANNO) recently completed the drum tracks for HEXFIRE's debut CD. The recording session took place at the Staffordshire Phoenixx Studios with engineer Stephen Parkinson. Drummers Alex Holzwarth (RHAPSODY OF FIRE, AVANTASIA) and Diego Grom Meraviglia (ANCIENT, DOOMSWORD) also laid down tracks for the CD.

According to a press release, "HEXFIRE's sound can be described as power metal with a modern touch."
