MARILYN MANSON Art Exhibition To Open In Germany

June 18, 2007

A Marilyn Manson art exhibition will be held beginning on June 28 at Gallery Brigitte Schenk (Albertusstrasse 26) in Cologne, Germany. The exhibition will be open to the public June 28 - July 28.

A traveling show from Space 39 Gallery in Ft. Myers, Florida to Gallery Brigitte Schenk, Manson's exhibition will feature 40 original watercolors.

Stated Robert Fontaine, Exhibition Director of Space 39 Gallery, "[Manson's] work highlights a trend in contemporary painting which does not seek to glorify the subject as something it's not but instead to visually speak of the subjects he paints with a rawness and blood-wrenching honesty. With vibrant colors dripping, muddy tones and splattered abstractions Manson owns his own voice as a powerful visual artist.....He has landed where few artists dare to tread, near an embankment where unmistakable political and psychological themes run colorfully mad."
