MARILYN MANSON Selling California Home For $1.1 Million

October 14, 2007

The Los Angeles Times reports that Marilyn Manson is selling the Chatsworth, California home he has owned for the past few years for $1.1 million.

The 38-year-old musician purchased the five-bedroom house in his real name, Brian Warner, in early 2004 for $1.27 million, according to public records. He has since turned the garage into a recording studio. The house also has an office-library and a bonus room. There is a pool and a covered barbecue.

Gated, on slightly more than half an acre and perched above street level for even more privacy, the the one-story, 4,500-square-foot Mediterranean has Valley views. It was originally constructed in 1937 and was once owned by actors Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor. It has distressed hardwood floors and has been completely rebuilt through the years.

Check out an online listing sheet for the house — complete with photos.
