Marilyn Manson will hold an exhibition of his latest paintings in Fort Myers, Florida, according to MTV.com. The showing will take place at the Space 39 Modern and Contemporary Gallery from April 2 to April 17, with a private reception to be held on March 31. Manson has exhibited his work before in Los Angeles and Europe, and opened his own space, the Celebritarian Corporation Gallery of Fine Art, last Halloween in Hollywood.
The singer will release his new album, "Eat Me, Drink Me", sometime this spring. The CD follows Manson's 2003 release, "The Golden Age of Grotesque". A full world tour is planned in support of the record.
Manson told MTV that he expected his new effort to be "something above and beyond and different — sonically, emotionally — than anything I've done."
Manson and his wife of one year, burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, separated in late 2006, with Von Teese filing for divorce.
