MARILYN MANSON To Issue DVD/VHS In Late September

August 6, 2002

MARILYN MANSON will be issuing his long-awaited DVD/VHS, entitled Guns, God And Government, on September 24th via Eagle Vision Entertainment. It reportedly contains MANSON performances taped in Los Angeles, Japan, Russia, and Europe.

The DVD version also features behind-the-scenes footage of MANSON on the streets of Tokyo, Berlin, Moscow, Rome, London, Wichita (Kansas),and New York. In addition, it contains band biographies, a discography, and a photo gallery.

MANSON is readying a pay-per-view special for later this summer under the same name, but each featuring different content.

"The pay-per-view is all done but it is not at all what you will see on the DVD that I have now taken complete charge of," the singer wrote on his official web site. "I think you deserve to see the best that we have, and I intend to show it."

Guns, God & Government is set to retail at $19.98 for the VHS and $24.98 for the DVD.

MANSON has completed work on his next Nothing/Interscope studio set, The Golden Age of Grotesque, due this fall. It will be the band's first recording since the exit of long-time bassist Twiggy Ramirez, who was replaced by ex-KMFDM/SHOTGUN MESSIAH member Tim Skold.
