MARIONETTE: 'Spite' Artwork, Track Listing Revealed

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal sextet MARIONETTE will release its debut album, "Spite", in Europe on April 28 via Listenable Records. The CD was recorded with producers Simon Exner and two-time Swedish Grammis award winner Åke Parmerud in Borås, Sweden. "Spite" was mixed and mastered by Christian Silver at Studio Mega (SONIC SYNDICATE, BY NIGHT) in Varberg, Sweden.

MARIONETTE recently shot a video for the song "Burn Me" with Robert Karlsson, who works with acclaimed Swedish video director Patrick Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR).

MARIONETTE made its 2008 live debut opening for Japanese rock band GIRUGAMESH in Stockholm on January 31. The group's final gig of 2007 was a support slot with BY NIGHT at the legendary Gothenburg rock club Sticky Fingers.

MARIONETTE's "Terror Hearts" EP was recorded in late 2006 with Henryk Lipp (BURST) and Christian Silver (SONIC SYNDICATE, BY NIGHT). It was mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström (IN FLAMES, AT THE GATES, DARK TRANQUILLITY) in December 2006. The demo since has gained praise from underground and mainstream media alike in Sweden.
