MARSHALL LAW Confirmed For UK's BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR Festival

Long-running Birmingham, UK metallers MARSHALL LAW have issued the following update:

"After our mucho-praised main-stage show at the Bloodstock Festival in 2006, we're delighted to announce that we'll be at Catton Hall for Bloodstock 2008. We made some great friends at the 2006 show and we hope to see ya again this year. We'll be headlining the Thursday night show taking place on the Lava stage and will be previewing for the first time, some tracks from the new album 'Razorhead', ahead of the album launch in October on DR2 Records."

Bloodstock Open Air 2008 is scheduled to take place August 15-17 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.

MARSHALL LAW's sixth studio album, "Razorhead", will be released in October via Global Music's imprint label DR2 Records.

Commented vocalist Andy Pyke: "Despite having the new album finished and mastered for the last twelve months, we chose to hold out for the right deal with the right label. We would like to thank our fans for their patience and are delighted to be working with Ged and Eric at Global Music. We believe that this is the right label to take the band forward. We’re looking forward to working with them and can't wait to get back out on the road to promote the album."

MARSHALL LAW last year posted audio samples of six tracks from "Razorhead" on the band's official web site (audio player will launch automatically). The CD was recorded at M2 studio in West Midlands.
