MASTER Planning UK Tour

June 23, 2008

Paul Speckmann's MASTER is currently booking dates for a UK tour in early 2009.

One of the most influential bands in death metal, the members of MASTER are contemporaries of the likes of DEATH, CARCASS and POSSESSED. UK booking agent Owen Duffy of PHP Events says they can't wait to return to the country.

"Due to time constraints, MASTER were only able to play two shows on their last visit to the UK," says Owen.

"Despite the fact that they faced a travel nightmare, with the airline designating their equipment as a terrorist threat and leaving their instruments in mainland Europe, MASTER really enjoyed their time here, especially the reaction they received from the British fans. The band are eager to get back over here for a full tour with a kickass support package, national advertising, press and promotional support. These are going to be some unforgettable shows featuring a truly legendary death metal band."

Support on the tour will be provided by CASTROFATE (USA),FERAL (Sweden) and NIGHTMARE VISIONS (UK) providing a mix of death, thrash and black metal which makes this one of the most diverse touring lineups that the UK has seen in a long time.

Local promoters and venue managers interested in booking a show should contact Owen Duffy at [email protected].

MASTER's most recent album, "Slaves to Society", was released in 2007 to rave reactions from both fans and the metal press.
