MASTERPLAN's ROLAND GRAPOW Auctioning Guitars

MASTERPLAN/ex-HELLOWEEN guitarist Roland Grapow has placed several guitars for auction on the German eBay web site. The items he is selling are as follows: Gibson Flying V Medallion from 1971 (auction page),Chrome Veleno from (around) 1973 (auction page),and a Messenger guitar from 1969 (made in San Fransisco) (auction page). All three auctions end on September 23.

MASTERPLAN's sophomore album, "Aeronautics", will receive its long-overdue U.S. release on September 20 via Candlelight/AFM Records. It is the first record to be issued via the two labels' recently announced agreement for the North American territory.

Released to critical acclaim throughout Europe earlier this year, "Aeronautics" "will appeal to fans of traditional heavy metal (DIO, WHITESNAKE),progressive rock/metal (DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X) as well the more adventurous fans of OPETH, ICED EARTH and others," according to a press release.

MASTERPLAN is Grapow, Jorn Lande (ex-ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN),Uli Kusch (ex-HELLOWEEN),Jan S. Eckert (IRON SAVIOR),and Axel Mackenrott.
