MASTERS OF REALITY Leader At Production Helm For MELISSA AUF DER MAUR's Solo CD

MASTERS OF REALITY leader Chris Goss is currently at a Los Angeles studio producing tracks for ex-HOLE/SMASHING PUMPKINS bassist Melissa Auf der Maur's upcoming solo album, tentatively titled Auf Der Maur. Joining Melissa and Chris in the studio are former NIRVANA drummer/current FOO FIGHTERS mainman Dave Grohl behind the kit and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE/ex-KYUSS axeman Josh Homme on guitar. Goss recently reported, “This is the heaviest, coolest sh.t that I've heard in a long time.” In addition to Grohl and Homme, former PUMPKINS bandmate James Iha, former HOLE drummer Samantha Maloney, A PERFECT CIRCLE bassist Paz Lenchantin, and other members of Melissa's side band THE CHELSEA are also contributing to the CD. A late 2002 release is expected.
