MASTERS OF REALITY: No Rest For The Wicked

August 25, 2003

MASTERS OF REALITY's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"Rumors are spreading of an upcoming Los Angeles MASTERS OF REALITY show. We've been told that Halloween night at the Greek Theater in L.A. will feature QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, TOMAHAWK and MASTERS OF REALITY!!! Confirmation coming soon. Stay tuned right here kids! Sounds like it's gonna happen now that [MASTERS OF REALITY mainman] Chris Goss has finished producing three new LPs, and also has put the finishing touches on his long-awaited solo/MASTERS outtakes LP, 'Give Us Barabbas', due for release this fall on his European label, Brownhouse Recordings. The other three Goss productions, MELISSA AUF DER MAUR, MARK LANEGAN and NEBULA, are all scheduled for release at different times over the next five months. Goss has also been doing a string of secret shows in the L.A. area under the name of 'PINK WOLVES'. The guest line-up has been changing with every show. More info soon... ***PJ Harvey fans take note! Chris has co-written two new songs with PJ Harvey for the new Josh Homme-produced 'Desert Sessions' LP, due in late September on Island Records. Some PJ fans that have heard the songs are saying that they're 'stunning'. Two of rock's best songwriters finally get together...we think anyway. And, if you can handle any more, Goss is continuing to work on his and Twiggy Ramirez' 'SNOBALLS' project, even while Twiggy is on tour with A PERFECT CIRCLE... more Hollywood rumors are flying as Goss and 'Armageddon' actress Shawnee Smith (also CBS' 'Becker') have been club-hopping and supposedly co-writing when they're not stumbling down Sunset Blvd. drunk. The pair recently invaded a 'ROXY SAINT AND THE MOTHERFUCKERS' show on the strip. The invasion continued when Goss' wife Cynthia entered the club. A few hours later, to top it all off, Goss left the club with wifey, Shawnee, and Roxy Saint herself in tow. We know he's a big guy...but can he handle three women at once? And all of the fans have been wondering what's been going on all year!!!!!!"
