MASTODON: New Live Footage And Interview Available

March 7, 2008

MetalKult.com has just posted Part 1 of its four-part video feature covering MASTODON's two-night stint, on January 24 and 25, 2008, at Brooklyn's Masonic Temple in support of experimental doom legends NEUROSIS.

In this documentary, which will be updated weekly, MetalKult captured some killer live footage including the rarely played "Hand Of Stone" as well as classics like "Megalodon" and "Mother Puncher".

MetalKult also cornered guitarist Brent Hinds, drummer Brann Dailor, guitarist Bill Kelliher and bassist/singer Troy Saunders in the strange rooms of this historic building to see what they've been doing since dropping 2006's "Blood Mountain" and their plans for their as-yet-untitled follow-up.

Check out this week's episode, which includes Hinds holding court in one of the Temple's "sacrificial baby rooms" and the guys tearing through a live version of "Where Strides the Behemoth" from their 2002 album "Remission".
