MASTODON To Support NEUROSIS In Brooklyn

January 8, 2008

Atlanta's MASTODON has been confirmed as the opening act for long-running Oakland, California-based industrial/alternative/metal pioneers NEUROSIS at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple in Brooklyn, New York on January 24 and January 25. A few tickets are still available and can be purchased here.

MetalKult.com recently posted an eight-part video feature documenting MASTODON's summer 2007 European tour, supporting their last release, "Blood Mountain".

Beginning in Lisbon, Portugal, on June 28, 2007, and ending on July 8 at London's Wembley Stadium, MetalKult editor Jimmy Hubbard hit the road with MASTODON as they played before audiences ranging from 2,000 to 70,000 people across across Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Greece, Denmark and Finland.

This eight-part series documents MASTODON's powerful live performances opening for legendary acts like METALLICA, SLAYER, and MESHUGGAH, and also captures the revelry that ensued when this band — Troy Sanders (bass/vocals),Bill Kelliher (guitar),Brent Hinds (guitar) and Brann Dailor (drums) — hit the ancient cities of Europe with its friends and tour mates.
