MATT SORUM: VERNE 'MINI-ME' TROYER Partied Harder Than Any Full-Grown Man

February 9, 2012

Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES, THE CULT) was interviewed in early December on Sydney, Australia's Triple M radio station when he was in town for the Hard Rock Café opening down in Darling Harbour, a locality of the city center of Sydney. In the two-minute clip below, Sorum recalls his time partying with Verne Troyer, best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, and his penchant for strippers and drug-taking.

Being in GN'R means Matt has partied with the best of them, but he insists he's yet to meet anyone that can party harder than Verne.

Troyer makes an appearance in "The Last Rockstar", the first video from DIAMOND BABY, the electro-rock group led by Sorum and his girlfriend of seven years, Ace Harper. Also appearing in the clip were "Glee" star Jane Lynch, iconic actress Juliette Lewis and MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister.

Sorum and Ace Harper previously played together in DARLING STILETTOS, which Matt helped produce.
