September 3, 2007

Rockster.tv conducted a interview with SOULFLY/ex-SEPULTURA frontman Max Cavalera before SOULFLY's gig at Germany's Area 4 festival on August 24. Video footage of the chat, which includes discussion of this year's European trek, spirituality, the D-Low Memorial Show and THE CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, can be viewed at www.rockster.tv.

THE CAVALERA CONPIRACY, the reunion of brothers Max and Igor Cavalera (former SEPULTURA drummer),made its official live debut at the 11th annual D-Low Memorial concert this past Friday (August 31) at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona. A photo of THE CAVALERA CONPIRACY taken during the the band's performance can be viewed at this location.

The D-Low show is held every year in memory of Max Cavalera's stepson Dana "D-Low" Wells who was killed in a 1996 car wreck (article). It is SOULFLY's biggest show of the year and draws fans from all over the United States. In 2004, SOULFLY filmed portions of its "The Song Remains Insane" DVD at the event.

THE CAVALERA CONSPIRACY is currently putting the finishing touches on its debut album in Los Angeles with producers Dirty Icon (Logan Mader [ex-MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY] and Lucas Banker). An early 2008 release via Roadrunner Records is expected.
