MEDICATION Plan European Tour, Lose U.S. Label Support

Los Angeles-based MEDICATION, who feature in their ranks former MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader, ex-UGLY KID JOE/LIFE OF AGONY vocalist Whitfield Crane, ex-ADAYINTHELIFE guitarist Blunt, and ex-THE PIECE DOGS bassist Kyle Sanders, are in the process of booking a European tour in February/March 2003.

In related news, MEDICATION's record label, Locomotive Music, has closed its North American offices in Tarzana, California after less than a year in operation (its European headquarters in Madrid, Spain remain in business). It is not presently clear how this development will affect the future recording plans of MEDICATION and other artists signed to the company, including PRONG. MEDICATION's full-length debut, "Prince Valium", has shifted less than 2,500 copies since its June release, according to Soundscan.
