MEDICATION's BLUNT Speaks Out On Tour Cancellation, Future Plans

February 7, 2003

MEDICATION guitarist Blunt (ex-ADAYINTHELIFE) has addressed the reasons for the cancellation of the group's European tour and the band's current status in the following message posted on the group's official web site:

"Hello everyone,

"I feel I should say something about what is going on. I must say I am heartbroken about the fact we are not doing our European tour! I live to play music. All I want to do is make really good records that people enjoy and to play kick-ass live shows!!!!

"I have just played my last show with MIMIC on Saturday night in NC. So for me... My days of playing shows are over for a long time it seems. I thank the MIMIC girls for letting me play with them! It has been nothing but fun!

"As far as side projects go, there are none I can speak of, I have spent most of this time of writing new MEDICATION stuff, that is my priority !! So if anyone thinks the tour did not happen because I have other things going on, that is not true!

"MEDICATION has been a band for 4 years and we have tried our best throughout that time. I am truly sad about this whole thing. I apologize to anyone who was looking forward to seeing us... Sorry to let you down! i am just as let down as you are!

"I don't know what the future will bring but I have more songs than I know what to do with. I will keep everyone posted one what our next move will be! Thanx for all of your patience who knows what 2003 will bring MEDICATION? I can only hope something good!"
