MEDICATION Split Up!

February 19, 2003

MEDICATION, the once-promising Los Angeles band featuring former MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader, ex-UGLY KID JOE/LIFE OF AGONY vocalist Whitfield Crane, ex-ADAYINTHELIFE guitarist Blunt, and ex-THE PIECE DOGS bassist Kyle Sanders, have announced their decision to disband following the cancellation of a European tour and a split with their record label, Locomotive Music.

"While [the bandmembers] believed in this project since its inception, this amicable decision to disband was one that was carefully considered," states an official press release. "After four years, the band felt they gave MEDICATION their all and decided it was in their best interest to move on and pursue other projects."

Logan Mader continues to produce/engineer other bands and is working on a project with Blunt. Whitfield Crane is involved in a project in San Francisco that is not yet announced. Kyle Sanders and Chris Hamilton will continue to work with FIX 8, the new project featuring VISION OF DISORDER members Tim Williams (vocals) and Mike Kennedy (guitar).

Along with the above, MEDICATION will no longer have an official web site or message board. The band's former official web site, MedicationMusic.com, is now closed.

MEDICATION extend thanks to all the fans, press and radio that supported their music.
