MEGADETH: ESP DV8 Guitar From MUSTAINE's Personal Collection Being Auctioned

A one-of-a-kind MEGADETH ESP DV8 guitar from Dave Mustaine's personal collection is being auctioned via the band's official eBay store this week. The guitar was made especially for Dave by ESP and is personally signed by him. The guitar is like the standard DV8s that were made for and used by Dave but instead of an inlay of Dave's signature, there is an inlay of MEGADETH. Check it out at this location.

According to Amazon.com, EMI will release a new MEGADETH box set, entitled "Warchest", on October 15, 2007. The set, which will apparently be available in North America as an import only, will contain four CDs and one DVD. The exact contents of the box set are expected to be revealed soon.

MEGADETH's U.S. tour this fall kicks off in Anchorage, Alaska on September 4, taking the band through 24 U.S. cites ending up in Norfolk Virginia on October 6. Support on the dates will come from IN THIS MOMENT and THE CONFESSION.

MEGADETH's latest CD, "United Abominations", has sold 112,000 copies in the United States since its May 15 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
