MEGADETH: European Tour Dates Announced

MEGADETH has scheduled the following European tour dates in June:

Jun. 02 - Roeselare, Belgium - Schwung Festival
Jun. 03 - Nürburgring, Germany - Rock Am Ring
Jun. 07 - Tampere, Finland - Sauna Open Air Metal Festival
Jun. 10 - Dublin, Ireland - Ambassador Theatre
Jun. 12 - Glasgow, Scotland - Barrowland Ballroom
Jun. 17 - Nijmegen, Holland - Fields Of Rock Festival
Jun. 22 - Zaragoza, Spain - Monsters Of Rock
Jun. 24 - Clisson, France - Hellfest
Jun. 30 - Milan, Italy - Gods Of Metal

A brand new MEGADETH track, entitled "Sleepwalker", has been made available for free download at this location.

"Sleepwalker" comes off MEGADETH's new album, "United Abominations", due on May 15 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was mixed at Backstage Studios in Derbyshire, England by Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, SKINLAB, NEVERMORE). Check out the cover artwork at this location. A professionally shot video clip of MEGADETH performing a new song, entitled "Washington is Next", on October 14, 2006 at the Loud Park '06 festival in Tokyo, Japan has been posted online at YouTube.com. Other songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Gears of War", "United Abominations", "Burnt Ice", "Never Walk Alone" and "Amerikhastan". A rough-mix version of "Gears of War", is available for download at this location. A video clip of MEGADETH performing "Gears of War" live on October 31, 2006 at Six Flags in Springfield, Massachusetts during the "Gears of War - Match Made In Hell" event has been posted online at YouTube.com.

As BLABBERMOUTH.NET first reported earlier today, MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD will support HEAVEN AND HELL on their upcoming U.S. tour, which is expected to kick off late April. So far two dates have been leaked:

Apr. 24 - San Jose, CA - HP Pavilion
May 10 - Wachovia Spectrum - Philadelphia, PA

The official U.S. tour announcement for HEAVEN AND HELL is expected to be made on Monday (March 5),with all tickets set to go on sale within 10 days.
