MEGADETH Mainman Talks New Album, Politics, Australian Tour; Audio Available

On Thursday, September 24, Anwar Rizk of Australia's MetalObsession.net conducted an interview with MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine. The 13-minute chat can be downloaded as an MP3 file at this location. It can also be streamed using the audio player below.

MEGADETH and SLAYER will team up for the Canadian Carnage East five-date tour in November. The trek kicks off on November 8 in Moncton, NB and wraps up in Toronto on November 13. The tour will feature MACHINE HEAD and SUICIDE SILENCE, and will see MEGADETH and SLAYER alternating the closing spot. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 18 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

MEGADETH and SLAYER laid waste to four Canadian cities earlier in June when they joined up for the first Canadian Carnage, marking the first time the bands had shared a stage anywhere in 18 years.
