MEGADETH's ELLEFSON And BRODERICK: Roslyn Clinic Footage Posted Online
November 21, 2011MEGADETH members Chris Broderick and David Ellefson took part in six October Jackson clinics on both coasts and a couple points in between. Broderick and Ellefson highlighted their new Jackson signature bass and guitar models during highly informative and entertaining clinics that featured scorching performance demonstrations, dynamic group discussions with question-and-answer sessions and signings with two of today's fiercest shredders.

MEGADETH's new album, "TH1RT3EN", sold 42,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 11 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous CD, 2009's "Endgame", opened with 45,000 units to debut at No. 9. This was slightly less than the 54,000 first-week tally registered by 2007's "United Abominations", which entered the chart at No. 8. 2004's "The System Has Failed" premiered with 46,000 copies (No. 18) while 2001's "The World Needs A Hero" moved 61,000 units in its first week (No. 16).
