MEGADETH's MUSTAINE, BRODERICK Talk Gear With PREMIER GUITAR

December 23, 2009

Premier Guitar's Jordan Wagner caught up with MEGADETH's guitarists Dave Mustaine and Chris Broderick on December 7, 2009 in Davenport, Iowa. In the nine-minute video segment below, both Dave and Chris walk the viewers through their setups.

Mustaine uses signature Dean Guitars (with 6-on-a-side tuners) and Marshall power amps and cabs. To keep things simple and preventing from a lot of moving pieces that could break down, they both use DigiTech GSP1101 preamp. The only thing different in Chris Broderick's rig is his guitar (he currently is using a Ibanez Prestige). While Broderick preferes the RG series, he's rolling with the Prestige because of the trem system.
