MEGADETH's MUSTAINE, SLAYER's KING Interviewed By NIKKI SIXX; Audio Available

November 2, 2010

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine and SLAYER guitarist Kerry King took part in a joint phone interview on a recent edition of "Sixx Sense", the national radio program hosted by MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx. You can now listen to the 16-minute chat below.

King joined MEGADETH on stage on October 21 at the Gibson Amphitheater to perform MEGADETH's classic "Rattlehead". This marked the first time in 26 years that Kerry played the song with MEGADETH (King took part in MEGADETH's very first shows in February 1984 as the band's second guitarist).

Universal Music released "The Big Four: Live From Sofia, Bulgaria" DVD and Blu-ray containing footage of the June 22, 2010 Sonisphere cinecast from the Sofia, Bulgaria leg of the touring rock festival featuring the "Big Four" of 1980s thrash metal — METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX. The DVD hit the streets on October 29 in Northern Europe, November 1 in most of the rest of the world, November 2 in North America and the full shows from all four bands are included in the two-disc set along with behind-the-scenes and interview footage.
