MEGADETH's MUSTAINE To Announce DEAN GUITARS Deal, Unveil New Signature Model At NAMM

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine is expected to announce at the NAMM show (National Association of Music Merchants) that he has signed a deal with Dean Guitars to develop his new signature-model guitars following his split with ESP Guitars this past fall. The official announcement will be made on Friday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. and will be broadcast via the official Deanwebcast, which will be available throughout the three-day event.

Commented Mustaine in a posting on MEGADETH's official forum: "I have been busy getting to know my new guitar company and developing the new models that will be introduced next week at NAMM. I wish I could tell you what guitar company it is, but I am sworn to secrecy until the unveiling at NAMM.

"Those of you industry people (or sneaky Droogs with someone else's passes),if you are going to be at NAMM, meet me in the lobby of the Anaheim Convention Center at 1:00 pm. next Friday, January, 19th.

"At that point, I am going to make the walk to my new guitar home and unveil my new Dave Mustaine Signature Model Guitar by '?' I'm gonna hang out that afternoon for a bit, then on Saturday afternoon for an autograph session and to show off my new guitars.
"Those of you that cannot be there, you can see it all broadcasted live just by tuning in to www.megadeth.com!
