MEGADETH: Upcoming DVD To Include Never-Before-Seen Footage

March 4, 2005

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the "Forum" section of the group's official web site:

"We all leave to go home tomorrow — my family and John Leeder's family and as soon as I get home I am going to the hospital because I can't seem to shake this horrible road rot I have acquired out here. Three different types of antibiotics, numerous cold remedies, and still the same thing everyday. That did not keep me from playing the last shows, and it will not keep me from our impending Japan Invasion.

"I am really looking forward to taking the boys overseas to Japan, as they have never seen the fantastic and fanatical Japanese fans. I am crossing my fingers that my family will be able to go again, but I think the last run burned them out. Plus the kids are still in school and I need to be a good daddy.

"I heard that the video will be debuted very soon, and I hope y'all like it. Also, we have been in direct contact with two of the four-five bands that we want to take out this summer, as well as the third band that our agent spoke to, and numerous bands that have contacted us to be part of this great opportunity to spread some metal around. Of the three that we have talked to, we are hopeful that they will be part of the summer tour, and I believe that you will be stoked.

"Lastly, there is a lot of stuff that I need to fill you in on this week when I get home regarding the 'Best Of' record and the 'DVD'. I will be as open and upfront as possible with you. Just let me say that the 'DVD' will have some really great, never-before-seen stuff on it."
