MEGAHERZ Part Ways With Singer, Cancel German Tour

September 24, 2005

MEGAHERZ, the veteran crossover industrial rockers from Munich, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"On the first of September 2005, Mathias ['Jablonski' Elsholz], our singer, left the band. Not only was this a total surprise for us the band, our management Extratours, and S.A.D. Music, our record company, but more than anything, we can not comprehend his reasons. Since this day we in the team have been working non-stop and have tried everything humanly possible to save our tour in Germany. Unfortunately we were not able to find a successor for Mathias in such a short time. Because of this, we must, with a heavy heart, cancel all of our concerts until the end of the year. We hope you understand."

MEGAHERZ's fifth studio album, entitled "Megaherz - 5", was released in December via S.A.D. Music.
