MELECHESH Confirmed For Norway's HOLE IN THE SKY Festival

Sumerian thrashing black metal innovators MELECHESH have been confirmed for this year's Hole In The Sky Festival, set to take place August 22-25 in Bergen, Norway. The band is slated to hit the stage on Friday, August 24. Also scheduled to appear are DESTROYER 666, IMMOLATION, NAPALM DEATH, OLD and TESTAMENT. You can also catch MELECHESH during the following European summer festivals: Earthshaker Fest (July 19-21 in Kreuth) and Party.San Open Air (August 9-11, 2007 in Bad Berka) in Germany, and Metal Mean (July 21-22) in Mean, Belgium.

As previously reported, MELECHESH will tour Europe as part of the Excess of Evil Tour with MARDUK, ENSLAVED, KEEP OF KALESSIN, GOATWHORE and PANTHEON I. The trek will kick off May 10 in Berlin, Germany and conclude on May 27 in Hamburg.

MELECHESH's latest album "Emissaries" — the follow-up to 2003's "Sphynx" — was released January 23, 2007 on Osmose/The End Records.
