MELECHESH To Headline Armenia's METAL FRONT FESTIVAL

Mesopotamian black/thrash metal band MELECHESH will headline this year's Metal Front Festival in Armenia on November 26-27.

Band leader Ashmedi states: "Part of my family are Armenian yet none of us have ever been there so this is significant for me on a personal level. The band will spend foour days in the capital city Yerevan and the organizers of the festival plan to take us to some interesting historic and pagan sites in the country."

According to the organizers of Metal Front Festival, after a live radio interview with MELECHESH the response was immense from the metal fans so it was decided to host MELECHESH as the headliners for this event.

As previously reported, Ashmedi will be the focus of a new documentary from Tools of the Trade Productions. According to a press release, "this documentary will try to capture Ashmedi in his personal surroundings as well as his music life in the Netherlands. The camera will travel with him to Jerusalem in the 'Holy' Land to emphasize and document the settings that have been relevant to the writing processes and the timeline of MELECHESH's existence. This portrait will reveal what aspects of the area contributed to the shaping of Ashmedi's personality on a spiritual, intellectual and musical level."
