MELECHESH To Headline Dubai's SANDSTORM FESTIVAL

April 24, 2009

Sumerian thrashing black metal act MELECHESH will headline the SandStorm Festival 2009, set to take place May 2 at Chi club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Also scheduled to appear are BILOCATE from Jordan and Lebanese extreme metal band KAOTEON.

Commented MELECHESH in a statement: "We are very pleased to play in the Middle East. We constantly get fan mail and hear about how strong and great the scene is over there. This will mark our first Middle Eastern show with the exception of the gigs we did in 'Holy Land.' We feel this event has significance to us."

Added the organizers: "SandStorm Festival 2009 will be an intense true metal gathering, focus to get you the best out of the best in the realm of metal, locally and internationally, true to its mission. Three bands will destroy your ears and dislocate your head. So stay close and wait for the shocking news that will drop your jaws wide open."

MELECHESH is currently writing material for its fifth full-length studio album (the band's first for Nuclear Blast Records).
