Members Of LAST CRACK Open For BON JOVI In Wisconsin

November 17, 2005

Reunited Midwest rockers LAST CRACK were the backing band for Oregon singer Trinity James as he opened for BON JOVI at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin Wednesday night (Nov. 16).

On Tuesday night at The Majestic, six area bands competed for the opportunity to open up for BON JOVI at the Kohl Center. MIGHTY SHORT BUS, LOCKSLEY, THE PROFITS, CATCHPENNY, TRINITY JAMES & BIG BAD, and LEVEL DOWN all competed in front of the five judges that included members of the local music media and students from the UW Union Directorate. When it was all said and done, Trinity James and his band BIG BAD came out on top. They are also eligible to open up for the band when they play Giants Stadium next summer. BON JOVI will choose one band from all of the openers on their tour for this honor.

On a side note, Trinity's demo CD of music that he used for entry was performed and produced by LAST CRACK's singer Buddo. When Trinity was informed of his winning an opportunity to compete in the battle of the bands to win the opening slot for BON JOVI, he asked the members of LAST CRACK to be his backing band.

TRINITY JAMES AND BIG BAD is:

Trinity James - Vocals
Buddo (LAST CRACK, MAGIC 7, CUDASIGH) - Drums
Paul Schluter (LAST CRACK, MUZZY LUCTIN, MAGIC 7) - Guitar
Don Bakken (LAST CRACK) - Guitar
Darren Soderholm (LAST CRACK, MUZZY LUCTIN, MAGIC 7, CUDASHIGH) - Bass

Trinity and Buddo also played together in the band SHE MIGHT HAVE A GUN.
