MERENDINE ATOMICHE To Work With CHRIS CAFFERY On New Album

July 30, 2007

Veteran Italian metallers MERENDINE ATOMICHE have tapped guitarist Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, DORO) to assist them during the recording sessions for their third full-length album, entitled "Rude Rebel Brotherhood". The CD will be recorded in August at New Sin studios in Loria - Treviso, Italy.

Commented the band: "It's been very hard but finally we got also this great chance to work with another star of the metal world. Everybody wants this collaboration but that was not easy to do. Chris is touring all around the world with his solo project supporting DORO. He just finished to tour USA and now he is in Europe. On his days off he accepted to help MERENDINE ATOMICHE before to hit the road again to finish his long world tour. I can only thank him for is kindness and availability and we can't wait to work with him for the new album. It's gonna be another great chance to learn and to work with another great musician after Jeff Waters, Anders Lundemark and Jack Frost. I wanna thank also all of our American supporter that permit this event to happen. Now back concentrate and let's produce another great album."

"Rude Rebel Brotherhood" will contain anywhere from eight to ten to 11 tracks and will follow the same hard rock thrash metal vein that was featured on the band's last effort, "Raw" (2006). Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Ignorance", "No, I Can't", "Summer Meal", "Burnt", "Hope", "Helmet", "Captain Venice", "Rise of the Lion", "Just for Us" and "Rude Rebel Brotherhood".

MERENDINE ATOMICHE's 2003 release, "Walk Across Fire", along with their demo, mini-CD, and tribute to METALLICA, established the band's powerful sound, mixing a classic thrash metal style with elements of hardcore and pure heavy metal.

"Raw" was produced by prominent metal guitarist Jack Frost, who has performed with SAVATAGE, SEVEN WITCHES and many other bands.
