MESHUGGAH Announce Swedish Dates

February 10, 2003

MESHUGGAH have announced the following Swedish dates in March:

Mar. 18 - Malmö, SWE @ Kulturbolaget
Mar. 29 - Umeå, SWE @ Umeå Open

In other news, MESHUGGAH guitarist Mårten Hagstrom has posted the following message via the band's official web site:

"Hey everyone! Mårten here. Just writing to apologize for not updating the page and checking in with you all in such a long fucking time. We are as usual real lazy and since we came home from the US tours we've been taking some time off to clear our heads. We had a blast going through the States on both the Ozzfest and opening up for TOOL. Its great for us to have been able to meet and play in front of so much people during this Summer/Fall.

"As always, being on the road with TOOL is just insanely fun. Nice guys, great crew! Plus they're an incredible band. The Ozzfest was FUCKING hot. Being from freezing Sweden the heat was probably the only thing we had a hard time dealing with on that tour. The whole tour is just a big party and something quite unique to have been a part of. As for the future we're looking at a small Scandinavian tour in March followed by a US Headline tour as soon as we can get around to it. After that we're planning to tour Europe at long last! It's been a while so we're really looking forward to that.

"Anyway we're going to get off our asses and give you guys more frequent updates in the future! Hope to see you guys on tour! Later!"
