MESHUGGAH: New Audio Interview With TOMAS HAAKE Available

February 12, 2009

Joel Parent from ABORT Magazine conducted an interview with drummer Tomas Haake of Swedish experimental extreme metallers MESHUGGAH in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on February 8. Listen to the 17-and-a-half-minute chat at this location.

MESHUGGAH and the support band on the band's North American trek, CYNIC, are opening the tour video player to their fans, and calling on them to send in pictures and footage (camera phone or otherwise) from the shows, documenting their own (fan) experience of the tour. All concert-goers need to do is send their video shots to [email protected], and if accepted, the clips will be available for the entire metal world to see.

Released in March 2008, MESHUGGAH's "obZen" album debuted at No. 59 on The Billboard 200 chart and at No. 14 on the iTunes Top Rock Albums chart. "obZen" has sold more than 50,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
