METAL ALLEGIANCE To Perform BLACK SABBATH's Entire Debut Album At Brooklyn Concert

September 17, 2018

METAL ALLEGIANCE — the all-star collective anchored by Mike Portnoy (SONS OF APOLLO, ex-DREAM THEATER),Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT),David Ellefson (MEGADETH) and Mark Menghi — will perform BLACK SABBATH's debut album in its entirety during the band's October 27 performance at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, New York.

The group will also perform a "special set of original METAL ALLEGIANCE songs" from its two studio albums — its 2015 self-titled debut and the recently released "Volume II - Power Drunk Majesty".

While Ellefson will not participate since MEGADETH will be performing in Indonesia that same night, the group will be joined in Brooklyn by OVERKILL vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at this location.

METAL ALLEGIANCE's second album, "Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty", was released on September 7 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The thrash-worshiping disc merges old-school legends with the modern metallers of the scene to produce groove-driven, adrenaline-soaked anthems while tackling the frustrating state of the world.

Guest musicians on "Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty" include Ellsworth, Max Cavalera (SOULFLY, SEPULTURA, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY),Trevor Strnad (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER),John Bush (ARMORED SAINT),Mark Tornillo (ACCEPT),Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISH) and Johan Hegg (AMON AMARTH). The album also marks the return of Mark Osegueda (DEATH ANGEL) and Troy Sanders (MASTODON).

"Volume II – Power Drunk Majesty" was produced by Menghi and Skolnick while Mark Lewis of MRL Studios handled the mixing and mastering. The cover artwork was created by renowned artist Marcelo Vasco (SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY, HATEBREED) and Rafael Tavares.
