METAL CHURCH Singer Schedules Release Party For Solo Album

July 21, 2009

METAL CHURCH singer Ronny Munroe has scheduled a CD-release party for his solo debut, "The Fire Within", on August 1 at Studio Seven in Seattle, Washington. He says, "There are going to be some other great bands as well. I will be there early to sign autographs, answer questions and just hang out and talk with everyone! I'm happy and pleased to be able to do this with the help of Katrina King and Hot Rocks TV. It will be a great night and I hope you all can come out!"

"The Fire Within" will be made available in Europe in September via Metal Heaven Records.

Commented Munroe: "After closely looking at a couple other offers, we made the unanimous decision to go with Metal Heaven and owner Georg Siegl, because he and his company were much more 'artist-friendly.' I'm looking forward to a long, prosperous relationship."

The singer previously called the CD, "undoubtedly my best work to date."

Ronny Munroe's solo band includes METAL CHURCH guitarist Rick Van Zandt on guitar.

METAL CHURCH guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof had encouraged Munroe for some time to do a solo project.

Munroe had 15 original songs to choose from for the CD, which was co-produced by the singer and Vanderhoof.

Ronny said these songs show a wider vocal range, bigger choruses and different melodies compared to his work in METAL CHURCH.
