METAL CHURCH Singer To Be Honored At Rescheduled MORTAL FEST
May 6, 2009The 11th edition of Mortal Fest 2009, which was originally set to take place May 3 in Guadalajara, Mexico, has been rescheduled for May 31..
Each year the producers of Mortal Fest dedicate the event to an artist for his/her outstanding contribution to metal music through the years. METAL CHURCH singer Ronny Munroe, whose debut solo album has just been released, will be the recipient of this year's award.
With over 30 years of musical experience, Ronny has performed alongside countless international recording artists and has taken part in more than 3,000 shows. He is a dynamic performer with a very broad range and a unique vocal style that sets him apart from other singers. An innovative lyricist and songwriter, Ronny fuses melodic rock with hard-hitting metal in a way that will take your breath away.
Mortal Fest began in 1998 as an initiative to support and promote Mexico's metal scene. The first event surpassed the expectations of everybody and the following year the producers decided to expand the concept to an international event, combining metal music and art in one of the most important metal expos of Latin America.
