'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Lands Monthly Column In GUITAR WORLD Magazine

November 8, 2010

Starting 2011, guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak, most commonly known as the guitarist in Rob Halford's solo band HALFORD will begin a monthly guitar column in Guitar World magazine.

A new feature called "Metal For Life" will have Mike break down, explain and demonstrate many aspects of metal guitar playing. Each lesson will additionally be broken down in a video demonstration found on a DVD enclosed with each issue.

In the current year-end issue of the magazine — on newsstands this week — check out the Andy Aledort's special feature with Mike called "10 Essential Metal Riffs / The Big 10."

Metal Mike's own metal guitar school called Metal Heroes Music Academy is located in Sayreville, New Jersey. Metal Heroes caters to players of all levels with popular workshops held throughout the year. Mike has additionally written two guitar instructional books — "Ridiculous Riffs For The Terrifying Guitarist" and "Monster Coordination – Guitar Boot Camp". Mike is currently on tour with Halford.
