'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK To Issue Video Updates On New Solo Effort

May 7, 2009

Guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM, SEBASTIAN BACH) has issued the following update:

"As my work progresses on my next solo outing, I'm psyched to say that Jackson Guitars web site will be be the official home for my exclusive video updates. You will be able to find them on my artist page. It will be a total blast to share the progress with you. In addition, during each video episode I will be quickly answering one question as submitted by you metalheads, so if you have a question send it over to [email protected] with a heading 'Video Question.' I would like to keep the questions gear- and guitar-playing-oriented, if possible.

"Last, but not least, I have extended my endorsement deal with D'Addario strings for two more years. Thinking of it, I have been touring and recording with Jacksons strung with D'Addarios for over 10 years now. Time flies."

Chlasciak recently launched a Metal Mike TV channel via YouTube.

Mike is currently in the studio finalizing pre-production for new solo material, after concluding a U.S. trek as a sideman axe-slinger for ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach. Bach toured the sheds and arenas last summer with DOKKEN and POISON on the "Live, Raw & Uncut Summer Tour". An official announcement regarding the project is expected sometime early spring.

Chlasciak has signed a personal representation deal, through his C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC, with Chicago's sports and entertainment company MMW Marketing, LLC.
