'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK to Rock House Of Guitars' GUITAR EXPO

November 18, 2008

Guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM, SEBASTIAN BACH) will appear at the annual Guitar Expo hosted by Rochester, New York's House Of Guitars superstore.

Guitar Expo will feature representatives from major guitar and amp manufacturers and enable players and fans alike to talk in detail directly with the manufacturer. This is your chance to find out that secret setting on your amp, learn about new products and network with fellow musicians.

Metal Mike and several other guests will be on hand to perform live and talk shop with the attendees. First 100 people in the door will get goodie bags worth over $100.

"I am really looking forward to hanging out at the Expo and talking with many of you," commented Mike. "What a better way to learn than just to surround yourself with a bunch of gear and talk openly about getting the best metal tone. Come up, hang out, I will be playing live. I will be representing my main weapon choice — Jackson Guitars — so any of you Jackson freaks want to come down and talk shop — here is your chance. Hope to see ya there."

What sets the House of Guitars apart from most is the museum-like aura and the labyrinthine arrangement of rooms filled with instruments it sells — and refuses to sell. You will be impressed with the particularly the massive guitar collection. Many of the guitars are autographed: The names Les Paul, Dave Matthews and Brian Setzer are scribbled on guitars. The store has been visited by and provided instruments to the likes of METALLICA, OZZY OSBOURNE and countless others.

House of Guitars is a home to an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 guitars and 4 million albums, CDs and tapes. It could be successfully argued that the House of Guitars is the best-known independent record store in the country, after being the subject of admiring profiles by both People magazine and The Wall Street Journal.

Expo will take place Saturday, November 22. Attendance is free. Store hours are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

House Of Guitars is located at 645 Titus Avenue, Rochester, NY. Phone: (585) 544-3500
