'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Working On New Solo Material

February 24, 2009

"Metal" Mike Chlasciak (SEBASTIAN BACH, HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM),considered by many to be one of metal's premiere guitar shredders, is currently in the studio finalizing pre-production for new solo material, after concluding a U.S. trek as a sideman axe-slinger for ex-SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach. Bach toured the sheds and arenas last summer with DOKKEN and POISON on the "Live, Raw & Uncut Summer Tour". An official announcement regarding the project is expected sometime early spring.

In other news, Chlasciak has signed a personal representation deal, through his C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC, with Chicago's sports and entertainment company MMW Marketing, LLC.

MMW Marketing is a growth- and revenue-driven firm specializing in development, marketing and personalized guidance of sports and entertainment firms and individuals.

MMW Marketing's founder Mark Washo commented on the new venture: "Heavy metal has always been a very positive part of my life; something that has provided me with inspiration, motivation and a sense of belonging. I have always felt the cross over between professional sports and music as very strong. I am looking forward to put forth my experience and feel privileged to be able to work with an incredibly talented musician such as Metal Mike. Mike has built a great career to this point; however, I feel the sky is truly the limit with Mike's future."

Asked about the new choice of representation, Metal Mike replied, "I have always been impressed with Mark's ability to find answers and new ways to create opportunities. At this time in my life and career, I am only interested in working with motivated, honest and outside the box thinking people. With several soon-to-be-disclosed endeavors on the horizon for me, I am excited to welcome Mark and MMW as a part of my team. To the future!"
