February 7, 2006

Jasmin St. Claire, former adult film and wrestling star and current host of "Metal's Dark Side" and "The Metal Scene TV Show", will appear as a star this spring in "National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2", the sequel to the cult classic "Dorm Daze". Directed by David and Scott Hillandbrand, the film also stars Raymond Riehle, Chris Owen, and Daniel Fischel, and was recently acquired by Lion's Gate Films for national release.

As previously reported, Claire makes an appearance in ICARUS WITCH's video for the title track of their new album, "Capture the Magic". Directed by Swedish filmographer Mats Lundberg of Doom Films (CHILDREN OF BODOM, TRISTANIA, PAUL DI'ANNO),the clip (watch a preview at this location) was produced in Sweden, Los Angeles and Pittsburgh, and will also be appearing as part of a limited-edition bonus CD on the upcoming European and Japanese release of the "Capture the Magic" record. According to a press release, the members of ICARUS WITCH befriended Jasmin last summer at a Cleopatra Records party in Hollywood and were thrilled to discover she was both a fan and an eager participant in their dark, video vision.
