'Metal That Sounds Like Other Metal': New Installments Posted Online

June 28, 2008

A registered YouTube user who goes by the name "BakNBlack" has posted a number of new clips featuring hard rock/heavy metal tracks that sound like songs by other artists.

Says "BakNBlack": Y'ever hear a song and go, 'Man, that sounds just like...'? Well so did I. In fact, I found songs that not only sound like other songs, but they may as well practically BE those other songs!"

He added: "'Metal That Sounds Like Other Metal' is for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. As a drummer in a rock band, and a songwriter, I make no claims about anyone 'ripping' anyone off; there's only eleven notes and only about fourteen keys that don't suck on guitar. This is 'Metal That SOUNDS Like Other Metal', not 'Metal Ripping Off Other Metal'."
